OUR LODGE |

Thiepval Memorial Masonic Lodge No. 1020 is a Masonic Craft Lodge working under the authority of the Grand Lodge of Ireland. The lodge retains a strong military influence but these days, although there are still a high proportion of ex-servicemen in our number, there are an increasing number of brethren with no military connection. |

OUR MEETINGS |
|
Our meetings are held on the 3rd Monday of each month from September through to June with the March meeting being moved to the Saturday for the installation of our Worshipful Master and Officers. The November meeting (being the one nearest to Armistice Day) is always a big night in the 1020 calendar and its not unusual to hear the "skirl of the pipes" or the sounding of bugle to remind those present of times long past. If you are a Freemason and would like to attend any of our meetings you will be made to feel very welcome. If you are not a Freemason but would like to be please contact us. |

THE EARLY LODGE |
|
The lodge was formed in 1991 by serving personnel and ex military servicemen. In fact our first Worshipful Master served in World War II with distinction, seeing action at Dunkirk, The River Plate, Dieppe and Normandy and being one of the founding members of the newly formed Special Boat Service.
